How is the directory protected?
If you are worried about your family directory being shared, you are not alone. Although no single service can provide total protection, we have developed a suite of features that will certainly put the kibosh on would be file sharers.
- Personalized watermark: Each family receives a directory with their name and phone number or email watermarked on all data pages. This watermark is located where it can't be cut off or removed.
Personal watermarks are an extremely effective method to deter file sharing as the document can always be traced back to it's source. This also makes it easy to take action against the person who shared the directory. (Something you can't do with a printed directory.) - Password: A password is required to open the directory. Each directory can have a unique password that you determine or you can let the system generate a random password.
